during this past christmas holiday me, k, and some friends went on a shopping trip to new york. ny is still ny. and after this trip i finally realize why nykers are so proud of being a nyker. for no doubt it is the most energetic city on earth - not even london or hong kong could compare.
during the 4 days in ny we spent 1 day at the famous woodbury outlet mall digging out reduced brand name products. gucci, versace, channel, dior, burberry..... you name it, they have it, and they have it cheap! isn't that tempting?! luckily, i was exhausted from shopping in t.o. which left me little energy and $ to shop in ny. wheeeellllll.
on another day we went to explore the true ny. fifth avenue, soho, times square, broadway..... soho, with boutiques and cafes scattered on narrow streets, was the part of the city that amazed me the most. crusing in the area i felt like i was actually a nyker!
hopefully i can have a bite of the big apple again very soon!

I'm so jelly!!! NY is totally my fav city in the entire universe. I miss shopping at Woodbury. And those wicked roasted peanuts from street vendors. Did you try those?
hi yee-ee. no i didn't try anything from the streets. too bad for me. i had some kebab from the streets during my last visit and they were soooo yummy. missing them.
